Malechai Veteran Posted October 22, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 22, 2003 i'm guessing but you may need a crossover cable rather than an ethernet cable
m_cochegrus
You need a hub yif you want to use that cable or you need to buya cross connect cable. When you connect two network cards togheter without a network device in the middle you use a cross connect cable, otherwise use a normal patch cable and a hub or switch. BroChaos Veteran Posted October 22, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 22, 2003 i'm guessing but you may need a crossover cable rather than an ethernet cable that should be right. since the xbox just has a regular NIC, you can't just go nic to nic with regular cable. unless you put something in between.
