Marc A.
there is very little "blood and guts' in this movie, despite one or two very violent scenes, but if all you are looking for is "blood and guts," as you so eloquently stated, your missing the point of the movie itself... i suggest don’t even bother wasting your time watching it because it is a brilliant movie as it forces you to think (quite rare these days no matter what the medium), and by the "blood and guts" statement you have made, it does not seem like thats your cup of tea to think while watching a movie, so just skip on watching it because i get a funny feeling the point will fly right over your head anyway... Ha, that was great.

+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted October 22, 2003 Subscriber² Share Posted October 22, 2003 Eddie Furlong is pretty good in it too. Strong performances throughout really. And let's get over THAT scene. There is so much more to the film than this.

fukachu
i agree not a movie to see the blood and guts of things, american history x is a great movie that can really move you. up there in the best movies ever for me anyway. if you want blood and guts go watch kill bill volume 1. this is a movie i could recoomend to everyone because i just think it has something to it that most mature aged people could enjoy. i would be disapointed if some1 didnt enjoy this and requested more blood and guts, as said b4 its rare to find a movie that can move so many like this one does. cheers Fizical

Diffused Mind
Didn't the government not want people to see it because it was the truth? Other than that, my brother has seen it gobs of times and he likes it, but I think the first scene is sex.

sgtLENIN
Great GREAT movie. Actually, the director Micheal Kaye did not want his name on the film so he tried to use a fake one, but did not get the permission. Anyways: see it.
