Windows 2000 SP4

I am having problems with 1 computer trying to connect to my domain.

The client is a WindowsME computer, logging on to my Win2K server/domain controller. I go to log in, type my User name, Password, and Domain, click OK and it gives me the following error:

"The logon controller could not verify your domain password or your account has been denied access. Please check your password and try again."

It's something along those lines.

The user account is fine; we can log in using that UN/P on any computer. However, I went into the server and looked in the Active Directory computers, and this computer name wasn't there. So I added the computer, but it didn't "take;" it wouldn't give me any information about the computer (OS info, management utils); it was as if it wasn't connected.

I hit Cancel on the login screen so I could use the computer, and checked the network connections, and it connected to the network shares using my UN/P.

Why can't I log on the domain?

Please help, if you need any more info, just respond.

Oh yeah, this computer was working fine until I updated the server to SP4. That MIGHT have something to do with it.

Thanks!

Yes, it's part of Client for Microsoft Networks. It adopts the connections and securities for the domain, but it's not as useful as WinNT logging into the domain.
