AshMan
As some of you may already know, we are organising the first Neowin London Gathering of the Neowin Forumers. I've setup a web page to help organise the event and I hope all of you can help organise it and indeed, attend. There has already been a discussion about this but the thread fell into such disarray that a new thread (and site) needed to be open. We have decided that the Gathering will take place in London and I propose it be on the evening of Saturday the 13th of December 2003. Apart from this, we are yet to decide on a venue for the event. We can't really suggest a place until we know roughly how many people will be attending, so that is why I have opened a new site (accessible from the link below) that will allow us to see who will be attending. Once we have a good number (perhaps by the end of this month) we can start to look for a venue. However, please feel free to suggest places now; I personally would prefer to avoid bars and go for something like a classy restaurant. Please visit the Neowin London Gathering site and add your name to the list. You can also download the Neowin logo and font from the site to print your own name badge. UPDATE - 11th Dec 2003 - Final Reminder DATE: Saturday the 13th of December, 2003. TIME: 6:30 pm. PLACE: Basement floor of the Trocadero. Once most of us have gathered, we will head down to the Wetherspoons AKA The Moon Under Water at 7. If you are late in arriving, just make your way to Wetherspoons. Click Here for a map to Wetherspoons. Any problems, just PM me or send me an eMail. UPDATE - 9th Dec 2003 - Meeting Place We will be meeting at the basement floor of the Trocadero at around 6:30 PM to 7 PM and then will move on to Wetherspoons. All late comers should meet us at the top floor of Wetherspoons. UPDATE - 8th Dec 2003 - Venue Location We will be going to at Wetherspoons after we all meet up. Address: Wetherspoons - The Moon under Water 105-107 Charing Cross Road London, WC2H 0DT Phone: 020 7287 6039 Neowin London Gathering's Website Edited December 11, 2003 by AshMan
