Neowin London Gathering

Hows about a big slap-up all-you-can-eat buffet? Maybe a chinese one? Then on to a pub or something?

Sounds good, that's why I suggested Wong Kei's :)

It's a rather well known Chinese Restaurant (in Wardour Street) famous for good food at low prices, oh and abysmal service (marketing gimmick) although they aren't half as bad as they used to be (unfortunately!).

Picking up on something Rezza & yourself suggested, why not meet up lunchtime-ish for a few bevy?s, head off for a spot of bowling, then end it at Wong Kei's... should be a fun-filled afternoon & evenin:):)

I will probably go to science museum when im in london to see the lord of the rings exhibition.

Others might want to join me...

I am considering now whether just going there for the night and not actually sleeping will be ok.

If not I will have to look into accomodation or just go home early :(

well i just got a guide in the evening standard about wireless hotspots in london (where you can get on the internet using your laptop) tho maybe those of you with laptops and a wi-fi card could have some fun :D

3 places of interest are

lockside lounge in camden (free access)

McDonald's hanger lane (pay access)

Lewisham Bowling (pay access)

ill scan in the map so everyone else can have a look :)

i can take picture of you guys on my new camera phone :D and upload them as we go around during the day :shifty: the mods won't know what hit them :p [/joke]

chinese found sounds good :) maybe we could find a cafe/bar in the city with nice sofas and sit around and chat or what not :)

i think trocodiro has to be on our list of things to do tho

Why does it have to be so soon, why not make it next year :/

What are you talking about? It has been in discussion for around two months now, and we are still a month away from the actual date.
