The Six Million Dollar Man

Recommended Posts

Right on, thanks for the info!

Man, there's a few flicks in there that sound very promising, including Starsky & Hutch and School for Scoundrels. In my opinion, Jim Carrey is underrated as an actor. I'm not talking about monetarily or publicity wise, but he has the capability to do what few comedians before him did - act on a serious level and make a comedy/drama that is really, really good. I was very pleased with Truman Show, and I thought Bruce Almighty was pretty damn good too. He and Robin Williams are very diverse.

I'll be waiting for this one for sure.

hollywood is nothing but remakes. Nothing is original anymore, it getting real old real fast. Just cause these shows/movies were good back then doesn't mean that they will be good now, hell they most likey will be worse. With all the great books that are out old and new, why start doing remakes hoping for a big hit?

Besides, The Six Millon Dollar Man sounds a little cheap in this day in age . They should rename to the Six Billion Dollar Man (need to say in dr evil voice) :)

indie films are the only good ones any more, hollywood is dead. It all about the f/x now and not the story/plot.

The movie industry hasn't had an original idea in over 10 years. Ever since a movie years ago was released

(Brady Bunch, or Flintstones), all the movie industry knows how to do is release remakes of TV shows of the

70's, hoping to cache in on the baby boomers.

I haven't been to a movie in probably 2 years, and I only watched the last 007 movie because I'm a fan of

007 movies. The last 2 movies I paid money to go to see were 007 movies. If I can't find the movies

at block buster for 3 bucks, I don't even bother anymore. I'm not paying 7 to 10 bucks to watch a remake

of a 70's TV show.

Does anybody remember Wait Till Your Father Gets Home an awesome cartoon from back in the days.. Well as far back as the 70's in fact... a film based on this would be a right laugh...
