I have tried various reedit hacks and they are not working. Is there a way to restore this settings? Admin shares should be enabled by default when joining the domain, unless you have turned them off via group policy? Been a while since I have played with these sorts of issues, but if your accessing it via MMC - atleast some of the admin shares must be in place? What reg change(s) did you make?
