Are you able to talk under 100 minutes a month on your cell phone?

Tmobile has a special where you get unlimited web (5GB) and text with 100 minutes a month just for $30. Would like to know if you can stay under 100 minutes talk time a month?

Definitely not. LOL I don't know how much I talk as it's all unlimited but i probably use 300 minutes a day sometimes. Talked to a friend last night for about 3hrs anyways which is already 180mins. This is mainly why i switched from AT&T to "AT&T" (prepaid) because my bill was $140/month to get enough minutes but then time difference with Germany and i was going over anyways so switch to unlimited. Nights and weekends offer no benefit during the week with a 6 hour time difference. Now I probably do 3,000 a month. :o

I don't think I even cross 5 minutes. my phone is more of a PDA with SMS to my GF and family

How is 5gb unlimited web?? I have a great phone but I use it as a media player more than a social tool, I only use it to call for a pizza so maybe 10 minutes a month. I use prepaid cards a $100 valid for 365 days.

Under 100 minutes a month? Easily. I don't make a lot of phone calls on my mobile phone.

Mobile internet on the other hand is crucial. (And currently down. Get on with it, Vodafone.de.)

Depends - my plan is 450 minutes with unlimited nights/weekends. I use less than 100 minutes of PEAK minutes, but apparently I talk more on nights/weekends. I usually use:

  • 60-90 minutes of peak minutes per month
  • 150-300 minutes of unlimited nights/weekends per month
  • 2000-3000 texts per month
  • 5-10 GB of true unlimited 4G LTE

My usage has gone way up for everything. If I'm going to pay the phone bill, better make the best of the services!

Yeah, all my friends and the people I work with use Skype and I can wait to talk to them when they get on Skype, unless it is an emergency then I will use my Nokia Lumia 900 and ring them. Only reason I honestly have a phone is to either Tether it for internet access if I am out and about OR my boss or parents need to contact me *shrug.

My wife and I have a "shared" plan and we get 400 minutes between the two of us. Last month she used 8 minutes and I used 59 :p But usually we use about 100-150 minutes / month

We use a lot of data though (we usually hit our lame 1 GB limit rather quickly even if we're really careful about not using too much data, we could probably use at least 6 GB between the two of us)

I doubt I'd make more than 100 minutes of calls a month, though people call me more often than I call them, so I'd really never use more than 10 minutes

Excluding SHoTTa35, every other person has said they use less than 100 minutes a month. Neowin, a community of socially awkward computer geeks. :p
