That's not a console. :angry: And it revolutionized computing, not just gaming.

As for my vote, NES gets the points for creating the base on which the gaming world we live in today rests, with Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man, Final Fantasy, and a long long list of other series in which new installations are still being made to this day.

But, sure, Spacewar was THE revolution, that proved that computers could actually be used for games....

Originally I would've said SNES hands down. Now with the XBOX I can play SNES as well as all other major consoles on one system. It also makes an awesome computer, and the best media player I've ever used.

NES, no doubt about it. Here in Argentina it was known as Family Game. Because It wasn't the real NES the one that came here, it was some kind of clone made in China or in one of those assians countries...

NES & Sega Did it for me...But the X-box did it now...Everyone else is Folowling and doing what Its got and or doing out the Door in some way or another....The set a Standard for everyone else Next Gen Stuff & so on

the playstation did it for me, I did have a SNES but not many games for it, but once playstation out I was getting every new game :D, I've stopped now for awhile but I am gonna get a XBOX in dec

I voted Atari 2600 becouse it pretty much introduced the idea of a console system being able to play more then one game. Before that I had the Atari home pong system it was just one game... Hehehe so thats why I voted for it to be the most revolutionary :)
