Sir Topham Hatt
Sorry I couldn't really find a suitable forum for this to go in. However sometimes when playing a DVD on my PC I get really bad quality lines on the video. I'm certain when the DVD plays through a player then it's fine. I have uploaded a screenshot as an example. I have read a little about interlacing and deinterlacing but can anyone explain in simple terms why this happens and if there is anything I can do to fix it? Thanks

Sir Topham Hatt
Yeah, it's in VLC :/ I see it on my TV (connected to a PC) too.
MarkusDarkus
Try using a resolution that uses a progressive scan instead of Interlacing. I.E 1080i vs 1080p.
