So i got my 6 tickets to see Revolutions at the IMAX on opening Night, and man i cant wait, i asked for the day off and then the 6th as well, cause im sure i will be talking about it all night. i spent $70 on tickets. grrr cant wait, BIG screen and sound that will vibrate your chair so hard your girlfriend will need to change her pants. Just wondering if ne one else is watching it in the IMAX too.

i'll see it on imax the week after it opens. I hate packed theaters, I want enjoy the movie and not have to listen to the schmucks around me on their cell phones or talking about something other than the movie.

The Cinerama in Seattle has a screen almost as large as an Imax screen, and the seats are more comfortable ;) Definately seeing it with some friends there when it comes out. Also seeing LotR: RotK there. I've seen both LotR movies there and Reloaded there (lived somewhere else in '99); all amazing at the Cinerama! Imax = not 16:9: you lose some of the picture. Fine if you just want BIG, but I'd prefer seeing the entire picture the way it is meant to be seen.

i saw "ReLoaded" at the Luxor while visting Las Vegas and i will tell you now i wish all movies where on IMAX. and just so you know it it not laid out like a normal showing of a movie. think more like disney ride you don't pick you seats just move down to the end of the row. but still the people behind you their feet are up by your head and you have plenty of room to see. and the umm like 20.1 (guessing) surround sound blows out any other sounds that the people make.

How do they distinguish between a cell phone calling 911 and any other cell phone calling any other number?
