capr
so I have this story for a children's book. I don't need it published it's a one time gift type thing. Anyone know how I can get this illustrated? I would prefer paying for some software so I can do more stuff in the future. Money is not really an object because this gift is hugely sentimental. Any ideas will be appreciated. I have a loose 3 week deadline.
Nick H. Supervisor Posted October 25, 2012 Supervisor Share Posted October 25, 2012 Money is not really an object because this gift is hugely sentimental. One could argue that if it is that sentimental then it should be drawn by you to add to that, but I know I wouldn't attempt it myself, I know what my drawings turn out like. Maybe drop in to an art college and offer someone some money for it? You won't want to use software. It'll probably use some form of template, destroying the originality of the present. That's a very good point. My idea was to make multiple books over the next few years and I wanted the same style of art throughout. I figured if I am not doing the drawings myself then maybe it's no big deal...
