So wait, what about where the 2nd movie ended? Where does this fall? Sequel? Between movies 1 and 2?

Judging by the first trailer, seems like a remake of Pitch Black. All is missing, is the little tomboy.

Been wondering the same and ran across this, http://riddick.wikia.com/wiki/Riddick_(Third_Movie) Not sure how accurate it is but it seems to tie up the second movie.

The trailer was great. I really liked the first two movies. They're kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Can't wait for September!

Looks so good, only thing I wonder is how many will make it out alive in this one? :P

Its Riddick...so anywhere from 1 to very very few would be my guess.

Really can't wait for this to be released!

This Riddick poster must be the coolest one yet! Loving the fact that it has returned to it's Pitch Black roots. The limited budget for the movie should help as they will be forced to focus on characters and story rather than just special effects and "looking pretty". I think a lot more movies could benefit from a reduced budget actually.

I read on the Riddick movie website (www.riddick-movie.com) that Katee Sackhoff aka Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica is in it too, and apparently apparently has her first ever nude scene!
