Hmmm, here in BC, Canada, when we we get some little 6 point something, 7 point something quakes a little off our coast, we don't really notice or even care the slightest bit.

I don't think anyone would be "fracking" in Kentucky. Or any states near it. The New Madrid Fault Line is one of, if not the most dangerous in the country, in terms of the damage it would cause when it eventually "goes off."

Actually, Google reveals that hydraulic fracking does take place in Kentucky but it's described as "rare". It should be pointed out that it's also rare in the UK but we've had earthquakes related to it.
