Music Recomendations

Recommended Posts

I have just fallen in love with "Eternal", Evanesence.

I am really impressed with it. Anybody think of some other songs simialr to it? Meaning, instrumental only, rocking, flowing tempos, etc...

Who knows this song?

Also, is thsi typical muscial style of the entire album? It's not available at iTMS though,

Maybe I wasn't clear about what I liked about the song "Eternal". What I am wanting to find more of are things liek teh large sound, orchestra-like, changing tempo, Coldplay/Radiohead-ish, beautiful song becasue of it's value as a musical composition, so to speak

Does that in anyway clarify what I mean? I am not sure if I can really expalin it... Not really looking for Goth Metal(?) - never thought of myself as a fan of that genre. :)

If you're looking for a radiohead-ish type of sound, I've found that the album Damnation from Opeth comes pretty close. It's really melodic. Just give them a listen and I'm sure you'll like them ;)

,Oct 29 2003, 22:30] Actually, Opeth is Progressive Death Metal band ;) Deliverance is a masterpiece!

well, you can actually say that is a "mellodic progressive death metal" band but the classification long is ridiculous :D

if you want something like radiohead you need to get this album:

Sigur Ros - ( )

That album is a masterpiece
