I've figured it out using only the CLASSIC menu.......not yet figured out how to go about it using the new menu

I've got it to work, and here is how.

Change the icons globally to large to do so follow this

01. Right click no desktop

02. Select Appearance tab

03. Click on Advanced

04. Select Icon in the drop down item list and change icon size to 48,64,etc..

Make small icons in start panel ONLY CLASSIC MENU

01. Right click on start button select properties

02. scroll down and choose (show small icons)

The problem when doing this for the new menu is that the icons in the start panel.. well one half has small icons and the other one has 32x32 or was it 48s .. grr too lazy to check ;-)

Anyhow hope this helps the people with the classic menus

and if anyone figured it out for the regular menu.. please share the info with us!

I found a way to have only the left side of the start menu with small icons... not the right side... but it's better than nothing i think...

Just right.click on the start button, select properties... and in the advanced section select small icons.... so you'll have the left side of the 'Non-classic' start menu with small icons.

Hope it helps...
