Evolution
Matrix has rather crappy fight scenes IMHO.. too much CGI and unbelievable stuff. Kill Bill was way better...I've not seen Ong Bak, but yeah, the trailers here are pretty impressive. Best fight scene ever goes to the cow fight scene in Kung Pow though :D Anyone watched that? Did you even see the behind the scenes movie for matrix reloaded? There wasn't as much CGI as you believe. They actually spent an incredible amount of money on new non-cgi techniques. icie
I think the asian film Hero has very good fight scenes. It surpasses "crouching tiger hidden dragon" in its "fantastic like" aspects and also in its elegance of execution and artistry.

Tran
Any Bruce Lee or Jet Li movies. My favourite action movie is "Enter the Drangon" and "Return of the Dragon" (Chuck Norris was in Return of the Dragon. Bruce and him went at it and you can guess who won) with Bruce Lee. A "real" martial artist there! Sad that he had to die early. :(

OrangeSoul
Matrix Revolutions Screener in T. <--- Fitting end to my favourite trilogy and it seems to fit in this time and age when people are at war with each other the brothers give out the message of peace, i know a few people will not like the way it ends but its fitting, this was neo`s destiny as the one. 123_kid
My favorite fighting movie is "Romeo Must Die". I think the x-ray special effects are absolutely awesome and that they surpass the bullet time effects of "The Matrix".
JohnsonBox
Kill Bill :DMatrix were good as well but mostly done using computer graphics but Kill Bill were based on real fights, so the violences we saw reflect on real life situation. Have their skills on computerization revealed? Any link to the message? I think why they perfered computerized graphics was because of they deemed their film scenes were as true as real fights. As an audience, you can not tell which scene is true fight and which one is computerized. Otherwise, they have frustrated. :)

Soldier101
to those of you knocking the matrix fight scenes saying they look fake, you do notice that the fight scenes take place inside the matrix, meaning they know it's a computer, and are able to bend the rules etc.....hence the superhuman effects, hello, it had a plot, and backing for the off the wall fight scenes.
