Elliot B.
The entire Reloaded movie seems to have a green tint over the scenes, maybe a transparent green cover over the camera? I never noticed it before lol
Morphos
watch it again. You REALLY need to see Matrix: Revisited. It's behind the scenes on 1 and 2. Basically, the matrix has the green tint, to show the subconcious pervasiveness of the matrix, while the real world is tinted blue.
Dallas
i didn't notice it but could it be the fact that the movie has like a green theme to it? like hte little numbers that fall

Jean-Claude Van Damme
The first Matrix had also the green tint FYI
Dessimat0r
Its only a very small, computer applied green tint.

Boffa Jones Veteran Posted November 2, 2003 Veteran Share Posted November 2, 2003 yeah i noticed it in the first movie. didnt really see the blue one though.
Jean-Claude Van Damme
Well, there is no blue tint. All inside the matrix has this slight green tint, and the real world has no tint. While watching a lot of green tinted stuff, your eye tries to adapt and balance the color, when it switches to the real world, your brain/eye have adapted by "counter-tinting" it bluish purpelish, thus the normal picture might look tinted to you. The easiest to try that phenomenon would be to wear pure green tinted glasses for a couple of minutes and then remove them. Same effect.

darkmark327
I thought it was cool that the scene in Matrix where Neo is getting the bug planted in him starts out with those same screens as in the Architect room.
Redmondian
yeah.. I knew that.. Yah I noticed this right at the beginning. I guess some people are more observant than others :shifty:
Borbus
Also noitce in reloaded when agent smith stands near agent (johnson jackson or the other one i dont know) to turn him into smith, The agent's suit is tinted green but Smiths's suit is jet black. This is because Smith is not part of the system any more. And the real world does have a tint it is blue. The scene where neo first wakes up in the real world starts white and goes through to blue. All the ships and sentinels are all blue. Look at my sig! Edited November 3, 2003 by BobMarley
WigglesTheFish
seen the movie a bunch of times and never noticed that... *smacks self on head and pops in the matrix*
Borbus
There are loads more things to notce when you rewatch the matrix Notice how things in the matrix are all arranged like a matrix. The televisions at the start of neo's interrogation and in the arcitects room. The floor and walls of rooms all made of squares tiles. When Morpheus says "Give me your phone" Cypher searchs in his pocket for his phone but it isn't there because he put it in the bin. Morpheus is not worn out at all after fighting Neo Neo hides his stuff in a book - "Simulacra and Simulation" by Jean Baudriac. A philospher that a lot of the concept of the matrix is based on. Xerif
There's a lot more to be added to the list of details that the 2 first Matrix movies have. They all come from the same coherent line of the philosofical aspects of the literature that inspired the Matrix writting. You shoul read the philosofical section in the Matrix web site; "Simulacra and Simulation" by Jean Baudrillard, allready mentioned :D; "How Real is Real?" by Paul Watzlawick; "L'Ere du Vide" by Giles Lipovetsky and etc... If anyone wants a bibliografy about this subject feel free to email me, or to post! :D I only know for certain that the real is certainly the most uncertain aspect of human interpretation of the real. JodyWatts
Strangely enough, Trinity's death scene in Matrix Revolutions is shot in a red tint from what I've heard. Why do you insist on posting this crap in every Matrix thread. Some people don't want to have spoilers pushed on them ... especially when they are reading a thread that didn't warn of spoilers. Grow up ...          And before you say anything, I am not saying that your statement is true or not true .... just stop with the unannounced spoilers!!
