Microsoft Strikes Back!!! ???

Recommended Posts

Just seen this in alt.os.windows-xp don't know how true it is, but I have just done windows update 2 days ago!

==============================================

All over Europe XP Pro computers start up with a nag screen

something like this:

You may not have a valid copy of xp Please contact microsoft.

etc,etc,

It shows on XP Pro versions, which have downloaded a Microsoft update

lately.

As it shows there seems to be a incubation time of 3 days after the initial

download.

It affects versions which use the key beginning with:

FCKGW-

Be aware!

==============================================

Again..this is seen in alt.os.windows-xp don't know how true it is!!

Sounds like bull**** to me. There hasn't even been a new windows update in a tleast a couple of weeks.

I get so tired of hearing this bull****, if you people are so concerned go out and buy it, then you won't have anything to worry about.

I'm just passing on what I saw n the newsgroup. I'm not concerned, cus all I will do [if it was to happen], I would simply re-install again! :D No sweat of my back :p

I quite enjoy re-installing windows...good for the soul :evil:

The rate that winblowz crashes and/or slows down makes you need to format and reinstall so often that your almost gauranteed never to go past 60 days per install anyways..or iz it maybe just me? LoL

It depends on what you do actually. Take me for instance...I install all sorts of programs that sometimes affect XP. A good, clean reinstall.....works everytime.:knocked:
