I experienced this recently. I signed up for Sky HD, expecting these two channels to still be airing great, interesting documentaries, but I was severely disappointed by the content they're both airing now.

Its depressing to know that the exellent educational programming nat geo had pre 2000 has been replaced with this bull.

Breeding a generation of ignorant conspiratards.

I don't watch any of that conspiracy or redneck crap on the History Channel, but I have learned quite a bit of history from watching Pawn Stars.

i must say that that image is right on! i watched allot of Discovery Channel, NGC and History back in the days; recently I've got cable TV again so when i saw those 3 channels i was like wtf is this?

on a bright note: this week MTV showed a Alicia Keys concert... i could not believe i was seeing music in MusicTeleVision! The nerve they had!

Fixed that for you.

Considering the left wingers are the ones constantly talking about progression, change, not believing in religion... sounds like the History channel is more geared toward you kids with the whole "aliens" did it thing.

Nat Geo atleast at times puts on good documentaries more frequently. History Channel recently did "The Men who Built America" which was fantastic. But other than that, yeah... :(::::::

Maybe they've change because it's more in the demand this days. But I really hope they would go back to old one's especially national geographic. It was more interesting.
