For a minute I thought it was going to splashdown on the east coast and then trucked over to LA. DocM Posted March 26, 2013 Author Share Posted March 26, 2013 It's no guess - Dragon steers itself on the way down using its Draco thrusters and GPS guidance. Once the SuperDraco landing thrusters are installed in the DragonRider crew version they plan on putting it down with propulsion instead of 'chutes and with helipad accuracy.
