Deaf_Raiders
I have a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v1. I mounted a network Drive for my iTunes library using AFP. I also tried add another network drive via APF but it denieds me moving files to it or make changes in it. I checked the shared settings and both shared folders are the same settings. But it works as CIFS. I think AFP is denying me adding another AFP? Media path is set as AFP://192.168.0.17/Media which automounts when I boot. I also want my website folder which is smb://192.168.0.17/Website/Websites to automount everytime, I have it in my Login items, it still asks me for username and password when i reach the desktop to mount it where Media doesn't. Also i've tried as CIFS://192.168.0.1/Website/Websites now it not letting me copy a file or save a file a folder. Kinda getting on my nerves now. +BudMan MVC Posted January 30, 2013 MVC Share Posted January 30, 2013 And what account are you using to access - your sure guest is not involved in the session? Normally you can not auth as multiple users from the same computer to a server doing shares.. So if you create a session as guest or userA, then you can not create another session from the same pc as userB, etc. So you need to make sure your permissions are set on the shares so that what account your creating the session with has the rights you want. There is nothing in the aftp protcol that would limit you to one mount or connection same goes for smb or cifs.
