Matrix 3, just watched it (Nov 4th)

just saw it, the closing statements from those last people sure do leave room for it. This one was heavily story influenced. However, the Smith fight seen when neo does that slow punch is very kool.

Hi all

I just came back from the Zero Hour Matrix Release (Brisbane, AU). Amazing is the word. I loved it. I dont care what anyone else says. But the down side to the movie was the IDIOT who sat next to me, with a cough. People with flu, cough and other stuff should be heading to the hospital not Matrix 3, grrrr. Anyways, One thing I did not get, why does Zion not have its own EMP? Thats kinda funny with so much threat waiting on the outside. Anyways, gr8 show but a sad finish.

Just got back from zero hour in Cali. Wonderful movie. Summed things up nicely. Disagreed with a few things but in all it was a wonderful last journey into the Matrix. I remember approximately 4 years ago waiting in line for the answer to the question "What is the Matrix?" Everyday from that to this was worth the wait. The perfect conclusion to a simply amazing trilogy.

Zero hour, Sydney

Was pretty good, to be honest it was partially ruined for me for reading the spoilers for the last cpl months, one theory in particular proved to be pretty accurate.

Anyway the scenes were all pretty good, except once again I must say the whole Trinity/neo crap I found myself looking for a fast-forward button particulary with their last scene together.

**Following text, contains no spoilers but refers to the "closure" of the trilogy***

All in all a great movie to end the trilogy, and well worth the money to go see it, however, I realise they couldnt really end it other way but im really starting to detest Hollywood movies big blockbusters that they leave wide open for a sequel. Matrix, has been left wide open for another sequel, T3 left wide open for yet another sequel, all of them, any hollywood blockbuster these days is left way too open for sequels, simply because they know that a sequel despite being detromental to a movies legacy, generally rakes in more money for them. And thats the nature of the business, but still would be nice to see a movie, where it ends and there are not 50,0000 ways or open questions for their to be more sequels.

But hey besides that, go see the movie, cant wait to get it on DVD and get the surround sound and subwoofers cranking for some of those awesome fight scenes.

Just got back from seeing it. Thought it was brilliant. The only thing is that I didnt quite get the ending. What happened with Neo and Smith? Earlier in the film, it was said that they were the exact oposite, does that mean that they combined to make something ultimate? Is Neo now the light? If someone could clear that up that would be great. Thanks.

Hey on another note, saw the trailers for Scary Movie 3 in the previews waiting for revolutions.

Looks like they have certainly made a comeback after the poor attempts of scary movie 2. Number 3 looks bloody funny :)

I think they cancelled each other out restoring the balance.

There arent as many Neo hauling ass type fight scenes in this one as Agent Smith has almost assimilated everyone

Whoo, man. Just got back from zero hour. Amazing movie. The pacing was much better than Reloaded (and I'm one of those people who liked Reloaded), and I think the ending was perfect. This was just great cinema.

Now to wait for the DVD box set... :)

Rotten Tomatoes slammed Matrix Revolutions. But, as a faithful fan of the first two, I shall be seeing it this weekend!

Saw this morning at 9am EST on an IMAX screen and im already making plans to go see it again, great movie and as cerbero said, great ending and i love the fact that it leaves you with more questions, wonder if they'll be answered in the game in 2004, if not, oh well. For you people that havent seen it, you'll like it.
