Borbus
What follows will NOT spoil the film if you haven't seen it. Wait...if you haven't seen it stop reading this, go and see it! Anyway, this is the best film since The Matrix. It really is quite a grand film I will definatley see this again. Following the legacy of The Matrix it is difficult to put it into one genre. Most people call it just Sci-Fi but it is more than that. It is an action film with a Sci-Fi storyline mixed in with a bit of philosophy and punk style. In fact the story is most unlike action films because it can invoke thought. It could make even the most thoroughbread Matrix fanatic say "What the hell?" with its complex story so, if you found it hard to grasp The Matrix don't expect this one to make sense first time. But don't worry, the action is the best in any Matrix film and on a par with the Two Towers. It will surprise you. It doesn't go the way the rumours say it will. It is the most original story line ever! Using The Matrix as a benchmark and giving it 10 points I rate the other films like so: The Matrix - 10 The Matrix Reloaded - 8 The Matrix Revolutions - 9 I would give them all 10 but I think nothing can beat the Matrix because it was the first film I actually called my favourite film. It was mch better than any other film when it came out. I thought about it for some days afterward. Reloaded was not as good as The Matrix for reasons above but it did have me thinking for a good few days after I saw it the first time, that is until I saw it again. Revolutions was better than Reloaded due to the shear scale of the story and action. It took my breath away at some points and left me truly speechless at the end. So I conclude my review by saying this: "You can choose either to accept what I have just told you or reject it. You'll just have to make up your own damn mind."
