+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted February 21, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted February 21, 2013 Eurogamer: Does the console always need to be connected to the internet?Shuhei Yoshida: You can play offline, but you may want to keep it connected. The system has the low-power mode - I don't know the official term - that the main system is shut down but the subsystem is awake. Downloading or updating or you can wake it up using either the tablet, smartphone or PS Vita. It's good to know there is no requirement on an OS/system level however which is key for single player games. Destiny is MP only is it not? Destiny is MP only is it not? There is a single player, but it's persistent world. I don't think there's generic multi-player. It's seems kind of like a cross between an MMO, MAG, and Demon's Souls.
