[UK] Cheap high DPI wired laser mouse

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any good places to get one from? I'm looking for something cheap (?20 or under), that's laser (not the 'laser' brand which uses an LED), wired and has a DPI > 1200, and most importantly of all, doesn't have dodgy connections that come loose randomly like this 'laser' branded mouse which every so often stops moving but responds to mouse clicks and needs the LED resoldered...

I'm open to all suggestions really just so long as it's wired and cheap.

Humm yeah we've got similiar mice at uni and I keep knocking the other buttons without wanting to so it's not suitable :(.

"?20 for a device you use daily, damn - you are cheap... I don't know of any that price range that are laser (not optical)..."

Thanks ;). Either that or I'd rather pay much closer to the actual cost of the item instead of a hugely inflated price that doesn't give you much more than a branded product.

I lived on ?3 optical mice from ASDA for years, 2 buttons and a wheel, job done ;)

I'm posh now though, I've got a 7 year old wireless Logitech keyboard & mouse set :rofl:

There are very good reasons why a branded quality Logitech mouse costs more than that ****ty trust mouse you just complained about the quality on yourself... can't see the forest of all the tree situation going on here it seems like.

You can disable the other two buttons if you have butter fingers or there are the usual options available at the same place

FleaBay has a **** load of mice in your range like this one for ?20.45

I've got a 'laser' branded mouse and a fairey mouse, both were ?10, they're basic and both still work fine, the fairey one is over 10 years old, the reason I want a proper laser mouse is because the DPI on the LED ones just isn't cutting it anymore, going with larger screen resolutions on linux means its an incredible pain in the arse to get the mouse over the window border to resize it properly amongst other things.

Wow that pricespy site is nifty, I'll have a ganders.

EDIT: Right I reckon it's a choice between;

Used the HP one years ago but can't remember what it was like, never heard of the other two... Anyone got any suggestions or experiances with any of them?
