Do the companies care about Porn on P2P?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering theres always the big thing about MP3s and now movies but do they care much about all the porn being Shared?

Knight' seems to think "They" can track my IP and ask my ISP my name and address etc.

I dont know why I dont even download porn...

Anyway I need to solve this dispute so any ideas about this?

Porn is so widely available these days, comes even as spam in email accounts.

No i dont think they would be bothered.

Yes Knight is correct about requesting info such as name and address, but they really need a court order for that to happen or be in a country where the law requires an ISP to hand over those details. Otherwise, it is a breach of privacy between customer and the ISP.

Otherwise, download the amount of porn you want.

Not that I pay in-depth attention, but I haven't heard anything about "that" industry complaining.

If anything, they're probably quite enjoying what sounds like increasing numbers getting generally exposed to their products be it spam or whatever.

You would probably have more to be concerned about regarding potential ISP, etc., records kept.

Music industry's been funny enough to watch with them accusing portions of the public being "unethical". Can't imagine how some other industries would go over.
