Vinh
Im thinking of buying a game cube as they are getting cheaper now. I had a xbox a while ago and sold it, it was just like the playstation, all graphics and no fun. I love the nes but especially the super nintendo and the n64. I remember mario kart etc so god dam fun. Just wondering is the Game Cube as fun as the snes and n64?
Crichton
I like my gamecube. I bought the Platinum Edition (not that it matters) when they were at the higher price and I really like it. Zelda the Wind Waker,Eternal Darkness, and Metroid Prime are three great games for it.

Danrarbc
It's worth buying for Zelda Windwaker and Metroid Prime alone :) Heck, for me it would be worth it for just those 2 games even if it was still $200. But you luck out, $100. I'd wait another week or two for the Zelda compilation disc bundle. Then I'd get Viewtiful Joe, Pikmin, and Super Monkey Ball. Not to mention all the other titles you'd obviously be getting it for, but those three are overlooked so I like to mention them - especially knowing you liked old-school games. kryptonik
Vinh, I just went and reserved Mario Kart: Double Dash. Definitely get a GameCube. It is the best console on the market, people just don't want to admit it. There are also plenty of games that are coming out and a lot of good ones, too!

MR_Candyman
I agree. I mainly use the ps2, but only cuz I have more games for it. The n64 is my favorite by far. The Xbox will NEVER be in my house. There's a whopping 2 games I like for it and I hate all controllers...
Danrarbc
pretty much, but a lot of the key developers who worked on games like perfect dark for n64 are no longer with the company From what I've heard there is pretty much one complete team left from Rare's glory days. The team that worked on Donkey Kong Country and the Banjo series. Supposedly every other team has been shuffled up and had people quit and all that kind of stuff, to at least some extent. They certainly have the talent to bring themselves back, with the correct management of course. The question is will they get that management. Vinh
Ok GameCube it is! I must say the Nintendo 16/Super/64 so much fun. Now the Gamecube for me soon, I think I will wait for the extra zelda game with console or something Ive read somewhere this month. I cant believe I wasted money on xbox and sony. :( So sad that its all graphics today and no fun factor :(
iMonkey
I think that the N64 would have been immensly popular had Nintendo used a cd system instead of a cartridge system, the games for it are still as good as the game that are coming out on certain other consoles.
