Thank you for your enquiry and I can confirm Microsoft Applications team are in constant discussions with Sky Go and working with Sky on the app development for the Windows 8 phone, an announcement will be made within the next 6 months for this to become available on the platform.

No excuse for it coming onto Windows 8 so late (or windows phone). Several UK TV channels which are much poorer than Sky released Windows 8 apps months ago and they are well made.
