I seem to be in the minority who thought Enterprise was really good (I'm excluding the abomination that was the last episode of course!)

No I agree with you, it's my favourite Star Trek series

I also thought Enterprise was good. it came before shielding was even on a starfleet ship(it had hull plating). All the actors were good.
