Crackle, the digital entertainment channel founded in 2007, is stepping its game up in 2013; the network announced eight new series during their NewFronts upfront presentation in New York earlier today. On top of the batch of new shows, the digital studio announced the return of Jerry Seinfeld's 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,' one of three series on Crackle that have been ordered for a second season. Crackle, owned by Sony Pictures TV, will also be making a foray into feature programming, beginning this year.

Back in 2010, Crackle moved from a USA-only service, to now being available in Canada, Australia and the UK as well. Now the service is available on tablets and smart phones, as well. 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' has proven such a success that Sony has opted to move forward with a handful of new original series in different veins. 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' is exactly what the title promises: in each episode, Jerry Seinfeld picks up a friend and comedian in a nice car, they drive somewhere for coffee and lunch, and the show records the conversation throughout.

It was announced today that guests for the second season of 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' will include David Letterman, Sarah Silverman, Chris Rock, Don Rickles, and more.

Here are the descriptions of the newly-announced original series:
