Interesting read, though I dare say much is simply masturbation as he notes at the end. I want to know more about, "Whether you make a bet to build a new product that disrupts the market dynamics or change an existing product that disrupts your own product," since he chose the latter.

He does hit Derp's achilles though, "Those championing disruption often over-estimate progress towards elimination in the short term."

Easing people into major product changes, along with introducing users to these changes with something a little more descriptive than "Move your mouse into any corner" goes along way.
