isus
it must be REALLY pre-alpha if i can't see an action scene with some enemies and some a$$ whoopin's.
DeltaLima
it must be REALLY pre-alpha if i can't see an action scene with some enemies and some a$$ whoopin's. They don't want to show too much.. you know. And talking about pre-alpha, I hope they will add a better effect about the fire in the barrel that should scintillate/reflect on the walls. memNOC
yup thats sweet as hell.. those dog looking enemies remind me of the ones in Serious Sam SE and the one in the very first screenshots of DoomIII (you know, the one where the creature is on a guy in a bathroom with blood all over the walls..).. i especially like the ambience and the realism of the time of day/luminance change.. real cool.. i expect no less from HL2.. wow, the next gen of gaming is sure as hell gonna be sweet :woot:

Flash
i like the weather effects, sun rising up and down and clouds.
DeltaLima
i like the weather effects, sun rising up and down and clouds. I just noticed while the sun rise (a few hours seen in a few seconds) we see no movement at all from the clouds.. I wonder if they will add some movement to clouds. Maybe it's because it is still in pre-alpha. I also hope fire reflection will be better on the walls.
Flash
I'm pretty sure we'll see a lot more when its out of its pre-alpha stage of development. Realistic moving clouds would be nice

ANova
The day-night transitions and cloud/weather effects are indeed nice. HL2 still gets my vote though.
