How to get a Belkin Wireless adapter to work?

Recommended Posts

Here are the steps to getting your wireless adapter working:

1. Delete all your partitions and create 1 new partition.

2. Format that partition with NTFS.

3. Install Windows.

4. Come to your senses and realize that your life is too short to be wasted fighting your computer to get something as trivial as wireless working.

interesting.  I must have never noticed that I was covered in wool.

I'm happy you're learning more about yourself, but please stop using neowin forums to explore your sexuality. It's freaking me out.

if you still cant get it working after trying ndiswrapper, etc & you have money to burn (and you have a nic card)... get yourself an Wireless Ethernet Bridge.

I like the bridge solution. I had to use it on my wife's WinME machine (no USB ports) when the PCMCIA would not accept the original PCMCIA WiFi card I had. It may feel like you are "cheating", but it can save a lot of headaches when the "best" solution doesn't work.
