Daedroth
Hey. I have set up a PC for a user which has the Nvidia Quadro 600 GC PCI-E graphics card. The user has requested whether they can have two monitors to use Windows 7's extended display. I cannot figure out whether it can be used for extended display. Can anyone help? The official Nvidia link is: http://www.nvidia.co...dro-600-us.html This link is for PNY's version of the card: http://www.scan.co.u...-link-dvi-i-oem
Xahid
it Clearly written on that page .. High-Quality Display Connectors Drives ultra-high-resolution panels, producing phenomenal photorealistic image quality from a range of display connectors. Support two active connectors including, dual-link DVI with up to 3840 x 2400 @ 24Hz on each panel, DisplayPort with up to up to 2560 x 1600, or HDMI for integrated audio and video thru the GPU. We don't have a dual-link DVI cable. If we used a splitter/Y cable, that would just clone the displays. Can the card use both the display port and DVI at the same time to extend desktops? Or can the onboard card be used as well as the card?
Xahid
Oh I see, Well, of course, you can use both display ports & extend your desktop, but you need same Size LCD's & same resolution. I have experience of extending the display using different display ports
