Star Wars: KOTOR ?

Recommended Posts

i was thinking about buying this game, because i'm a big fan of Neverwinter Nights, and BioWare makes the best RPGs ever.

but i never liked Star Wars, from all the star wars movies over these years i seen maybe 20-30 minutes total.

i know that it will be a great RPG, but is it worth to get it, even if you don't like Star Wars?

I've watched the Star Wars movies, but that's about it...and I'm planning on getting this game. It's supposed to be on kick ass RPG.

Personally, I think any RPG fan should get this game...if it's as good as the reviewers say it is.

I'm not a fan of the new SW movies (like the old ones though)... been disappointed in most of the starwars games in general. But KOTOR is made by Bioware and that speaks for itself :) I've finished it on xbox and can really recommend it.

I didn't like Star Wars either, and was really indecisive as to whether I should get it or not, but I got it, and loved it - it actually got me semi-interested in Star Wars too.

However, I've found it's really only fun to play through twice - once as light side, the other as dark side. After that, there's not much replayability. But it is ~30-50+ hours to play through it once, which is enough for most people.

Definetly get this game its a ton of fun. If you like NWN youll LOVE this game. The feats are soooo much better then anything NWN had to offer. (warning i may be biased. I love SW)

It appears as though I'm destined to keep replying after Mr. Atom here ^^^ :)

Star Wars has one of the more immersive plots capable up there with Tolkien and such. Visually, SW: KOTOR looks amazing! It sounds like a truly complex and movie-esque plot and is definitely worth a look if you have the cash. I know I'll be looking into it.

I played this game in the Xbox. TWICE. one in the light side and one in the dark. And trustme if you liked neverwinter you are going to love this game. It's one of the best RPG this year.

whats the difference? different characters? different endings???

Well, if you do it completely dark, you get less people on your side to choose from (there's only you + 2 others at any time) and the ending is different.

You also get much funnier things to say when you're playing dark side.

/wave amoeba LOl

Different feats, different endings, different decisions, etc. Choosing on which side of the force to fight for is crucial.
