Rupert Grint's TV comedy Super Clyde has been rejected by CBS.

The pilot starred Grint as Clyde, a fast food worker who uses inherited millions to become a superhero.

Though CBS will unveil its full 2013-14 television schedule later today (May 15) at the US TV upfronts, Super Clyde is not expected to receive a series pick-up.

Stephen Fry also featured in the Kick-Ass-inspired pilot as Clyde's butler Randolph.

It was previously confirmed that CBS had passed on another high-profile pilot, Beverly Hills Cop, which saw Eddie Murphy reprise his big-screen role of Axel Foley.

Pilots picked up to series by the network include Josh Holloway spy drama Intelligence, James Van Der Beek comedy Friends with Better Lives and sitcom The Crazy Ones starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

sad that it was not picked up, i actually really enjoyed it. Not sure how it would have done as a show thought, it would have been a better feature length film.
