You know with 'mates rates' on stuff? done a job for a friend? and how often do they pay you cash? never, its always in beer.

fukachu
or marvel at the fact that we dont have kangaroos as pets ok i hate to be a smart arse but this bit is true for me, lol. my parents have a special license to keep kangaroos and 25 years ago or so (my parents are in their 50s) they went to a place called kangaroo island in south australia and purchased 4 kangaroos. they bred and now we have more. although this draught has been bad for us because the kangaroos haven't wanted to breed and we now only have about 12 =( they are inside an enclosure, not wild. today i took my friends to a place about 1.5km from my house and we walked on a bush track and we saw wallabies and an echidna on the short walk =) gotta love living where i do! im guessing most of u aint gonna believe me but its true. i live approx 50km north of melb just outside the suburban areas. u think you all get technology slow, i haven't even got ADSL availible!!! as for the NZ vs Aust, forget it, we always gonna fight over who is the best, no point turning this into a flame war. cheers Fizical

Jason the Eighty Eighth
I think its a good thing that we are ignored. Us aussies know Australia is a better country to live in so no need spreading the word. But its true how other people see aussie people. I went to england last year and they somehow assume we haven't seen a burger king store before, or know what a palm pilot is, or marvel at the fact that we dont have kangaroos as pets and koalas in every tree. But I can definatly say our fries are better, our beef is better, our maccas is HEAPS better.... i mean, what the hell is a McChicken SANDWICH??? For crying out loud its a BURGER not a bloody sandwich! And whats the go with the meat pies!! I went into a service station looking for a pie or a sausage roll but all i could find was some frozen pastry ****. But the best thing about Australia by far is the chicks... I can walk through Sydney and 1 out of 3 girls is HOT. And i just dont mean fairly good looking but HOT HOT.... When i was walking through London every girl was fugly! every single one of them.... and i was walking for a couple of hours too! The only chicks that were hot over there were the tourists that didnt even speak any english. Lift your game England!Anyway, thats my ramble :) **** you Steve Irwin for giving us Australians such a dumb-arse steortypical view. :pinch:

iMonkey
Ansett Australia kinda went down the tube, then Ansett New Zealand (which became Qantas New Zealand) went down the tube too. The Open Spaces in New Zealand are clean and green and not sandy or full of giant rocks that are owned by a small minority. !!!!!WE HAVE THE BLEDISLOE CUP!!!!!
