crashing help plz

Recommended Posts

my computer crashes when I play games, it doesn't tell me anything useful when it shows that blue screen either. it just says to check hardware...

I have two keyboards and two mice hooked up, one of the keyboards and one of the mice is a cordless through usb, could the other ones being hooked up make it crash like that?

There were two different BSODs that I used to get consistently.

Atleast try to tell if it is a stop error like this STOP 0x0000000A and if is says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED or something else.

Which video card do you have and what driver version are you using? Which Chipset does your motherboard use and are you using any drivers for it (ex. VIA and VIA 4 in 1)? Is there anything else special about your computer?

It is a stop error, this is what it looked like the time I actuall wrote it down, the other times only a few letters or numbers are different but basically the same.

***STOP:0x0000007E (0x0000005, 0x804DB70D, 0XFAF9BC10, 0XFAF9B910)

I have a Radeon 7200 using uriel something drivers its in my sig.

Im not sure about my motherboard, but it seems to be problematic. when I got the Radeon 7200 games froze, and then I had to restart now they seem to just restart. That could be due to me using Tweak xp and changing something though. So I am thinking I want a new motherboard that might fix things... and make my computer faster.

This is funny. Hey, you should send that error to Microsoft dude. They claim that XP can't crash! - Jajajajajaja - I guess they are wrong!
