Man spends $440 a month on cable package

OP. You are a legend to spend that kind of money per month on cable and internet package. You must be dream customer for Comcast or any cable provider. I am not sure what kind of work do you do or your financial situation but that is kind of absurd money to spend on cable package.

$440 a month on TV and internet? Geez; what ever happened to just going outside and enjoying time with each other? I make no excuses for getting my two 4 year old kids their own tablets but "tablet time" is only at the most an hour a day when I get home; and few hours of TV a day. The rest is spent outside at the park or playing with their toys.

My kids are growing up in a world where they're always connected. I try and "disconnect" them as much as I can with trips to the museum, the park or anything I can find. It also helps me "disconnect" so it's a win/win for all of us!!

$440 -- That would be just the Rent money, for a lot of people around here.

I doubt you'd find anything good for that amount in the US.

Full comcast cable TV is 215 bucks a month? Christ in a handbasket that makes a full Sky TV (UK) subscription look cheap :/

$199 for the "full package" is a discounted promo rate at that... it goes way up from that after the promo period... but we are talking about literally hundreds of channels, and hundreds of HD channels for that price including all premium channels all foreign language channels (like Russian channels, Asian channels, European, Spanish, etc)

standard cable from Comcast is a whole $90 a month with nothing else and that has all the standard large networks and channels and you still have a 100+ channels in HD

What? Satellite television?

Got bigger selection of channels than on any cable package, with 3D and even a few UHD channels.

Wow really? I'm thinking about old school sat dishes that had motors on the thing and would move when you changed the channel. Is that what you are talking about or are you just stealing Dish TV (which is apparently very easy to do with the right equipment)?

By "pay once and forget about it" I was referring to buying a receiver with card sharing option.

lol ... how'd I know someone would mention card sharing. After being on that road for 5 years, I find it hard to pay a provider what they demand.
