Sylar0
Hi guys basically my Mother used Paypal as a payment method for the odd thing on Facebook as of last night it seems the option has been totally expunged from facebook. Can anyone shed light on this, ALL the apps options for facebook have suddenly gone missing with no warning and if she goes to payment options in account settings she is being asked to put her debit card details in and buy facebook credits whatever they are? Side note I am in the UK (if anyone from here could verify this id be much obliged. And I can no longer add Paypal on my account if I so chose. It's like the option to pay with Paypal for anything has been shut down without warning?

Image on the left shows the fact there is no longer an option for my Mum to add a Paypal account to Facebook the second shows ONE of the games that up until last night had a Paypal option. cooky560 Veteran Posted June 2, 2013 Veteran Share Posted June 2, 2013 I've never bought anything on Facebook, but a quick visit to the payment settings page shows me this: No options for paypal or any of the other options shown in your screenshot. Perhaps Facebook is moving to cards only?

Sylar0
Very confusing up until June first I am stating my mother never had facebook credits in her life or needed card details for to buy on facebook and no word from Facebook on it. My mother isn't a noob or anything but does dislike random changes the whole point of using Paypal is security and she as myself wouldn't want to trust Facebook with my card details if I can help it. It's like the option to pay with Paypal for anything has been shut down without warning? my guess is, something with the UK, maybe a law, rights to conduct business in the UK or something along that line, is probably why your mom doesn't have that option. (I'm just taking a blind guess there)
cooky560 Veteran Posted June 2, 2013 Veteran Share Posted June 2, 2013 Perhaps facebook is cost cutting by removing paypal (avoiding fees?)

GreatMarkO
What you play? Does Paypal show up on your Payment methods bit as an option? I wasn't referring to games, I was referring to advertising - if you pay to advertise on Facebook, as I do, they still accept PayPal as a payment method
