Cinemax's newest drama has added another actor to its ranks.

Quarry, a period drama based on a book by Max Allen Collins, has added Third Watch alum Skipp Sudduth to its roster. Quarry focuses on a Marine sniper who returns home in 1973 from Vietnam to a drastically different America than he expected. He is shunned by those closest to him and finds himself ridiculed when he goes out in public.

This leads to his joining a network of contract killers, because naturally that is what happens next. Right?

Sudduth's part in this will be as Lloyd, the father to main star Logan Marshall Green's Marine. Lloyd is a fellow vet and lives with a woman who does not support the son (whose name I could not find) and is very against the war in Vietnam.

Sudduth has also been seen in The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, CSI: New York and NYC 22. Currently he is starring in "Comedy of Errors" at Public Theater in NYC with Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The pilot is being written by Graham Gordy and Michael D. Fuller. They are also executive producing, with Steve Golin, David Kanter, Matt DeRoss, Keith Redmon, Ken Levin, John Hillcoat and Collins.
