Rounding out the list of guest stars slated to appear in the 8th season of USA's smash hit 'Psych' are three recognizable faces: Vinnie Jones, Olivia d'Abo and Kali Hawk.

These three names are added to a 'Psych' eighth season cast that already includes Cary Elwes, reprising his fan-favorite role of Pierre Despereaux, as well as Kristy Swanson, returning as Marlowe. It may be 'Psych's eighth season but they are showing no signs of slowing down!

Vinnie Jones broke out onto the Hollywood scene in 2000 with 'Snatch.' The former professional soccer player and renowned tough guy, Jones jumped into acting with both feet, appearing it hit features like 'The Big Bounce,' 'Played' and 'X-Men 3: The Last Stand.' Jones is known for his thick accent, his tough demeanor and his rugged charm--he should be a fine fit in the playful Hawktone of 'Psych.' On the USA series, Jones will play a thuggish, brutal British criminal with a beautiful right-hand assistant... played by Olivia d'Abo.

Another British actor, d'Abo hit the scene in 1988 on the classic show 'The Wonder Years.' Recently d'Abo has lended her voice to Luminara Unduli on 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.' On 'Psych,' d'Abo is set to drop by as a ?master infiltrator? and right-hand lady to Jones' criminal character. D'Abo will be seen in the upcoming feature 'Paganini: The Devil's Violinist.'

Kali Hawk is best known for her role on 'New Girl,' where she played Shelby, as well as her appearance in the hit comedy feature 'Bridesmaids.' Hawk will appear in an episode of the USA Network comedy as a crafty P.I. whose case leads her straight to Shawn and Gus. The actress? alluring character will reportedly have a lasting effect on the latter.

Hawk also recently starred in the 2013 comedy feature 'Peeples.'

I do really like the show, but I have trouble agreeing it gets better with age. I rewatched most of it and the first 3 seasons were the best compared to everything after. The main difference is the whole, scoping out a scene, figuring out crimes "psychically," and having fun with that barely ever happens anymore. That was the interesting part of the show to me, the deducing and parts coming together in his little way. Now it focuses less on the entire premise of the show, and more on their personal relationships, which is fine, but it seems to be going in that route more, with only 10% of episodes actually being about what it started as; a fake psychic detective solving crimes in a uniquely fun fashion.

All in all though, still a decent show. Go back and check out the first few seasons to see what I mean though, as I have just watched it all recently so it's easy to see the changes.
