Cuzzo
Is there support for it in WBv3.0,to skin all buttons? How do i then skin the button that goes from left to right? (see Display properties, the one that changes the resolution size).
greenreaper
I just call them sliders. One of those things which haven't been skinned yet. AFAIK, there's no huge reason why not, although the fact that they come in such variety (small/large, vertical/horizontal, pointy/flat) may have something to do with it. Certainly needs to be skinned at some point.
DJP
They defenitely need to be skinned. It's also possible with msstyles.
Frogboy Administrators Posted January 22, 2002 Administrators Share Posted January 22, 2002 It'll get skinned eventually. Just hasn't been a lot of demand. This is where business issues really come into play. The number of people who have Windows XP currently is very small compared to Win2K/Win98/WinME. So we have to first focus on making sure those users are happy and they're not demanding us to work on that. Performance, compatibility, and other issues are what get the focus. The changelog from WB 3.0 (Nov) to WB 3.1 (Jan) is pretty massive afterall. ;)
Cuzzo
Why not make everything skinnable in all WinOS versions? Its better i think, to be able to uncheck what you dont want skinned,no?
Frogboy Administrators Posted January 24, 2002 Administrators Share Posted January 24, 2002 Unfortunately, there is no magic wand that allows us to make everything skinnable. it takes work which takes time.
