cq_
yes video... i think there is a patch for the game as well, you might want to check into that... also if you had the same copy of spinter cell on your hard drive and didn't reinstall, you might want to delete the SlinterCell.ini file in the system folder of the game folder... Once you delte this file, the game will create a new one based on defaults... from there you can jack the resolution and stuff higher...
AOXOMOXOA
ok so i updated the drivers and i still get the same error.. what else could it be. i'm downloading a patch for the game now, but it does not talk about this problem in the update.. AOXOMOXOA
if i take out the ddr 400 ram and use a stick 0f ddr 333 it works fine.. very strange but this has fixed the problem..
TranceSphere
When i used to play that game i always used to get them, didnt find a fix for it.
Knight'
I used to get an error similar to this, it turned out it was because I wasn't using the chipset drivers for my mobo. So when I updated them, it just worked! Hope it does for you too.
spacey
i don't see how ram would affect it, the unreal engine has often given errors relating to video issues though. hmm try updating any motherboard related drivers as well.

insurektion
thats why the ddr400 could be the problem its not well supported on the msi.
nekrosoft13
i think the problem is that splinter shell doesn't exsist you got some mutant creation between splinter cell and raven sheild ;)
badall
if i remember correctly there was a fix in one of the recent detonators (forceware) for splinter cell check that out here
