go with a solid color. problem solved lol. generally you would want to use a wallpaper that was the same resolution as the largest resolution you have and then mirror it to the other screen. If you were going to span the image across the monitors you would want to use the same size, and resolution of monitors.

do you want 1 image that's mirrored on both monitor, or spanned?

mirrored: just use the larger one. or a common multiple of both i guess, would also work.

spanned: do it manually, make one image that comprises two parts with the exact dimensions of both monitors (so one will have some blank space) then use the "tile" setting when selecting wallpapers.
