It just stuck at the black screen with the blue progress bar flashing for about 3-4 minutes. My computer is of following specs Asus CUV4x mobo Pentium 3 733mhz 256 SDRAM Creative Sound Blaster Live Value Creative TNT2 Ultra IBM 16GB 5400RPM Can anyone help me solve this problem of mine? AgEnTsMiTh - NO DSL, cable :) OK .... here's the update. Everytime i starts my computer, i can see the following error appears in the EVENT VIEWER. The error are log twice, one after another. ERROR 1 ---------- Source : ACPI AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0xcfc), which lies in the 0xcf8 - 0xcff protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.
