How to unhide Windows 8 Photo Gallery

Recommended Posts

On the Windows 8 modern interface, I clicked the photos tile and then right clicked on photo gallery and selected the option to hide it. I now want to unhide the pictures library so that it's visible along with SkyDrive, Facebook, and Flickr (which currently are not hidden). I attempted to search for how to do this, and found the following on Yahoo Answers:

Go into the control panel and select folder options, then select the view tab, and then show hidden files/folders. I selected this option, but it still didn't enable the photo gallery.

Additionally, once I remove pictures from the pictures library, why do they still show up on the photos tile?
