kingzagz
Personally I like to turn the throbber off completely in explorer. I can't see any reason to have it there. There's a set of registry hacks that remove it if you go to this site: http://toastytech.com/news/bsod.html#throboff
stokd
I have a bookmark for changing this....AH HA! Found it! http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/answers...2103990,00.html I originally started a thread exactly like this and didn't get many replies but I'll ask in this one now  Does anyone know of any place that has like a library of throbbers? I had the Windows one and changed it to an Apple throbber and it's blue but now I'm kinda gettin sick of that too. Also, you can change it using gpedit.msc in the run box in the start menu. AFAIK it works on XP and Windows 2000...haven't tried anything else. But anyways go to Start -> Run -> type gpedit.msc and go to User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Internet Explorer Maintainance -> Browser Interface -> Custom Toolbars -> Custom Logo and you can specify your new throbber there. It has to be in 256 colors though. I found that out pretty quick...:ermm:. And that's about it!

orphic
OK, yeh yeh, everyone knows how to change their Browser Icons (hopefully). But, what about making them included with themes. Nothing caps off a good theme better than a good shell mod and a matching explorer icon. ;) I may add that to list on things to add to the 'tech-corner with a humor-twist' and put some funny & adult icons on it. BTW, windows update has released new ATI Card drivers...Go get'em, my update worked out great and i see actually see a noticeable difference in this update... ;D
whack
To include it in a theme just use restorator to hack the shell32.dll with your new throbber images and use it's patch generator to create a patch. Simple it's already been done in ChaNinja RC 1.5 for the throbber the move files animation the delete files animation and the empty recycle bin animation.
