Arceles
Damn.. I don't know if I'll be able to get the 7970. What's the cheapest option to run games at 2560x1080? I don't need to max everything but being able to at least play in that resolution is fine You can overclock a 7950 to reach 7970 levels, the MSI ones are very neat for this. I'm also considering getting a smaller monitor, so a "weaker" gpu won't be really a problem
Arceles
exactly this week I bought the following components: Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 (bios should be above of 1400 for supporting the FX processors) micro ATX. Processor: FX8350 (Hell yeah!) GPU: MSI 7950HD Twin Frozr (very good temperatures with very good overclocking) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1866 (good overclocking results according to many) PSU: CX600 Corsair Case: Fractal 1000 series (micro Atx) The monitor was gracefully lend to me by my school since I build this machine for myself but also for opencl and c++ projects.
